Oge Chukwudozie is the Global Safeguarding Advisor for Resource and Support Hub (RSH) providing technical guidance and support to RSH teams in MENA, South Asia and Africa regions. Prior to taking on the role of Global Safeguarding Advisor Oge was the National Representative for the Nigerian hub.
Oge has about 20 years of experience working with international non-profit organizations. Her key expertise is in safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH), child protection, and Gender programming. She has experience working in both development and emergency response programmes and has worked as Program Manager managing various humanitarian programmes. Her work on safeguarding included developing strategies for NGOs to institutionalize safeguarding.
Oge has a Master’s in International Primary Health Care from the University of London, a graduate certificate in Humanitarian Leadership from Deakin University Australia and currently undertaking another Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies at Saint Mary’s University, Nova Scotia Canada.
