Jenny manages business development opportunities for SDDirect across a range of clients and portfolios, working closely with technical team members to ensure the submission of high-quality proposals, and fostering partnerships with new partners, clients and consultants. She is specifically focusing on new business opportunities for SDDirect’s Gender-based violence (GBV) and Safeguarding portfolios.
Jenny joined SDDirect from CARE International UK, where she was responsible for institutional fundraising, working closely with CARE country offices and global technical teams, coordinating and developing large and complex high-quality bids across various thematic areas including: women’s economic empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, GBV, climate change adaptation and resilience as well as inclusive governance.
Jenny has a MSc in International Development with a focus on gender and women’s economic empowerment from SOAS, London. Outside work, Jenny is an avid reader and enjoys walking, travel and art.
