Olivia is a Technical Analyst with a focus on SDDirect’s Green Economies and Infrastructure portfolio. She provides research and technical inputs across a wide variety of gender and social inclusion topics, including women’s economic empowerment, climate justice and disability inclusion.
Olivia has over four years of experience in international development working across helpdesks, multi-year programmes and evaluations with clients including the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and UNICEF. Previous project experience includes technical and project management inputs into FCDO’s Work and Opportunities for Women (WOW) helpdesk, an ADB Literature Review on Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Pacific region, the Independent MEL Unit for the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery and a Real-Time Assessment of the UNICEF Malaysia Country Office (MCO) GBV Risk Mitigation and Referral Capacity Building Initiative.
Olivia has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree with distinction in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
