Gemma Ferguson

Gemma Ferguson is a Principal Consultant in the GBV team. She brings two decades of experience working at the intersection of media and social development, with a special focus on gender, social behaviour change and social norms programming.

Gemma has worked across multiple countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East and brings a range of technical experience, including curriculum development, programme design and delivery, training, research and evaluation. Her thematic expertise goes beyond GBV to include women, peace and security, governance and democracy, harmful practices / child sexual exploitation, women’s leadership and economic empowerment, and early childhood development.
