Tom joined SDD Programmes team in June 2022 and is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects to help maximise SDD’s impact and ensure delivery to high and professional standards. Since joining, he manages the Civil Society Support Programme II, the Girls Education Challenge-Transition programme (GEC-T) and a project to strengthening the Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) Global MEL functions.
Prior to joining SDD, Tom supported a range of international development projects across a diverse client base and has over four years experience in research & evidence, education and microfinance programming. Specific project experience includes the coordination of country research teams under FCDO’s RISE Programme, DFID’s Knowledge for Education (K4D) to support organisational learning and evidence uptake and the Empowerment for Girls Education project under the Girls Education Challenge portfolio (GEC-T).
Tom is Prince 2 qualified and has an MSc in Development Management from the University of Birmingham.
