
Alice is an independent consultant with almost two decades experience working to advance women and girl’s rights in Africa, Asia and Europe. She has a particular focus on strengthening the capacity of organisations working to prevent violence against women and girls, She spent six years’ working on the UK DFID’s What Works 1 programme (2014-20) and is now co-lead of the Learning Partnerships Team, an essential pillar of the FCDO’s What Works 2 implementation programme. She also leads a global team providing high quality, dynamic technical support, training and mentoring to staff working on UNFPA Nepal’s GBV Prevention and Response II programme in Nepal. She sees reciprocal, feminist-based and experiential learning as critical to her work and is continually inspired by the commitment and solidarity demonstrated by her colleagues.
